My classes in JSD program at UIUC.

Oh! Man! I cannot believe that my winter break ended. As a bird, I moved to stay in warmer area with my former senior police officer, Professor Sutham at Kennesaw State University, in Georgia for a month. From Dec 17, 05 to Jan 17, 06, it is very wonderful period of time that I will not forget.

My student life starts on Jan 17, 06. Many classes I intend to attend in this semester. First of all, I will take an Administrative Law because I realize that American Administrative Law is very progress. It, howver, is unknown to Thai scholars for its reputation. Most of Thai Admistrative law scholars graduated form France and Germany, and subsequently become law professor at Thammasat University, which is the leading Administrative Law School. Unfortunately, at least in my idea, because almost of law professors at this law school hold law degree from European countries, the legal concept are not diversities. I hope that after I graduate from the United States, I will have an opportunity to sell my idea about American Administrative Law.

Secondly, I will take a Cyberspace Law. Activities on an internet and cyberspace become substantially crucial in Thailand, and they will be much more vital in the future, I am positive. Presently, there still is no any law and regulation relating to the cyberspace world, especially, in the criminal law area. Lacking of such cyberspace law will render the unsatisfied situation because the victims of virtual rights in the cyberspace violation cannot obtain any protection by the law. Then, they might seek self-help, and thus commit the law infringment.

Lastly, as a police officer, criminal procedure is very important to me to recapitulate my understanding. In fact, I have studied this course for several times. I, nevertheless, don't think I have comprehended all of the criminal process concept, which most of those provisions had been adopted as the model in Thailand criminal code. Hope that I can graps what I still don't understand in this year.

I will relay what I have studied in the blog as my study record. I know it is not fun to read it but it might be useful for me in the future.
