Welcome Back To UIUC From Wonderful Spring Break!

My friends and I came back from our road trip during our spring break period - from March 18 to 25. Several places we have been to are foever and long lasting spectacular. Unfortunately, it was merely a short break trip; after driving pass eight states, we had to come back to UIUC in the sixth day of this wonderful journey.

In my point of view, I cannot stand saying that this trip is miraculous and very impressive at least to me. Our panel, six law students and a friend from Thailand, decided to hire the van and drove from Illinois to our distination, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Some of us, Tae, Jet and I, took turn to drove a van for the long way.

The first day, we stopped by to visit Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland; finally, we stayed at Triangle apartment for one night. Surprisingly, we, seven people, slept in the same room comfortably. The second day, we left Cleveland and drove directly to Niagara Falls located in the City of Niagara Falls, New York. Even though the temparature was below zero degree C, we were very pleased to stand in the windy place. Nothing could prohibit us from the largest falls at all; the feeling of exhaustedness disappeared instantly.

We stayed in the City of Niagara Falls for one night. On the third day, we were heading to the Grand Mension in Newport, Rhode Island. Unfortunately, we did not enough time to visit the those mensions when we arrived this the fifth state of our distination. The Chinese eatery was the most favorite food we picked, not because of its tastes, but because its reasonable price. Only $10 did we have to spend for the very wonderful food such as a stream crab. After long driving, we feel extremely exhausted and felt asleep readily. The fourth day, we woke up around 0800 a.m. as usual and thereafter we went to the Newport area to visit the Grand mansions which are preserved by the Preservation Society of Newport County, a non-profit organization. Only one mansion opens for us; of course, it is the best and largest one - the Breaker.

We lost again and again due to the wrong map we got from the map quest; do you believe me? Several times, we failed to find out the route to go to Connecticut, the home town of my police officer friend who has been studying in the Forensic principle at University of New Heaven , one of the best university in this area of study. Pol.Capt.Sorada called and asked the exact time we would arrive her place so that she could prepare the good meal for us even if she rarely cooks! Oh! Her food was very deliciousl! After we were done from the palatable dishes, Sorada and her friend gave us a tour to Yale University located in New Heaven city. I felt like I had been watching Harry Potter's school while walking around this prestigious university.

I really love this school, especially the school of law. It reminded me to think about Indiana University the school of law; its buildind look essentially similar. After finishing Yale University, we were heading to Boston city instantsly even if Sorada offered her room for us to stay. The first town we standed in Massachusetts is the "New Town" where presently is named as Cambridge. This city is the location of the best university which used to be only small house for teachin in 1630; currently, it is known as Harvard Univesity. Cambridge is located in the opposition of Boston, where the Charles river lies between those ancient cities in Massachusetts and the United States.

We still had very good opportunity to take a picture which the royal relative, namely Ploy-pailin. She is the daughter of the former older princess of our King. Concomitantly, we met her while she was purchasing a lunch at MIT, the home of her MBA school.

To me, I love to study law and history; the ancient city like Boston and Cambridge is very interesting to me. Indepedent war, which could be stated differently as the war of tea, is the model that we as a law and political student has to study. The idea of "No taxation without representatives" is the one idea that the democratic country must enshrine. Even the king cannot violate the rule of law and the norms of the democratic ideal!

It is very pity to know that we have only one day to stay in Boston. If we had more special time, I would travel around the Freedom Trail thoroughly. I would take a tour-bus to visit several places I really want to see. Howver, we came as a group; hence, it was not a good idea to separate myself from the group to visit around the city and leave my friends in the shopping town. It is my intention to revisit this wonderful towns again in the next possible time, but I don't know the exact event.

I subjected to myself that the "financial heritage" is very important for developing the university and rasing the ranking. Money and ranking are playing the vital role and supporting each other. Without money, the ranking rasing is virtually impossible. For example, Harvard University founded and occupied twenty thousand millions dollars to support its study and other purposes. The leading school such as Cornell University imposes the very prohibited price for the ordinary student. The tution fee for a law student is almost $50,000 a year, which is as twice as that of the public university.

Absolutely, it is true that the money can engender the better facilities for students; then, the ordinary or the poor might have to pay such prohibited price like a "Trade - off" option. Nevertheless, it does not assure that such students will success in their life and they might not be able to grasp what they want particular the knowledge.

I am thankful to my panel who rendered this trip happened as following; Tae and Jet who was the good drivers, Tai who was sick prior to the begining of the trip, Nooch who decided to join our trip in the last minute, ่Golf, who directly flighted to the States to join our trip, and finally, Oil who provided us the good technology and best luck in the betting!

Most importantly, I am really thankful the host who provided us the meal and the place to stay in some period of time during our trip. Firstly, Pol. Capt. Sorada for her good meal and her genoristy to provide us the guide in visiting New Heaven & Yale University;. Mr. Krich who facilicitated us during visiting Case Western Reserve University; Mr. Sunny who granted a useful guidance for all day in Cambridge and Boston visiting; Dr. Wu who gave us a helpful guidance at MIT visiting; and finally, Mr. Jok who privided us the enjoyable guidance at Cornell University. Again, thank you guys very much.

Response from Illinois Atttorney General

According to my lastest blog relating to my complaint about the worst unfair practice of T-Mobile Wireless company, I have handed in my complaint to Illinois Attorney General to initiate an investigation about its fraudulent conduct.

Yesterday (March 14, 2006), I had got a response from Illinois Attorney General. Here is Ms. Lisa Madign's letter submitted to me!

Thank you for contacting the Office of the Attorney General regarding your consumer complaint. We have received your complaint and will be reviewing it over the next few weeks to determine what assistance we may provide. Once we have reviewed the complaints and made a determination, we will send you written notification of our decision. Please know that your concerns are important to us. We thank you in advance for your patience.

Very truly yours,

Lisa Magigan

Ilinois Attorney General

I hope that the American Criminal Justice will be trustful! I realize that American Public Prosecutors occupy the very broad discretion whether to investigate the crime. However, as the consumer who has been extremely unfairly exploited by the very powerful company like my case, the public prosecutors will not disregard to conduct the utter inquiry to prevent the worst company from taking the benefit based on the people ignorance.

Let see what will happen in a few weeks! I will not pay even a nickle or a single to T-Mobile company if I do not deserve to do! The only reversed-term I can say to T-Mobile is "Foo-yuk T- Mobile."

T-Mobile is the worst cell phone company!

These are my two letters submitted to CEO of T-Mobile Company. The problem of the overcharge of montly billing happened to me at the end of February, 2006 after I used T-Mobile cell phone for two months, and decided to change the new rate plan. T-Mobile charged me around $180 for the billing circle of February 2 and March 1, 2006. The amount is absolutely incorrect!
The first plan I used is $39 a month, which I can call for 600 minutes and unlimited minutes during weekday night and weekend. The new rate plan is $29 a month, which I have 300 minutes and unlimited weekend call. I changed the new rate plan on February 18, 2006. One week later, when I checked my billing amount on internet, T-mobile system indicated that I had to pay $142 at that time. Oh! My Lord Buddha! How comes?
I called customer services at least 4 times on that day; nobody solved this problem and everyone said that the billing amount was correct! I submitted several e-mails to customer care on T-Mobile system. Nothing has been corrected and clear until now.
However, I will not give up; I will take all necessary legal steps to protect my rights as a customer, lawyer and police officer.
As a customer, I will inform the Illinois Consumer Protection to initiate this bad conduct. As a lawyer, I will protect myself from the cheating conduct of T-Mobile Company by filing the complaint to contest the wrong doing of this company. As a police officer, I will inform an Illinois Attorney General to take the step to investigate the illegal conduct of this company. A notice will be given to this company as soon as possible. I promise to myself that all steps mentioned above will be finished by tomorow 4 p.m. The first step I have already done is filing my complaint on internet to Illinois Consumer Protection. Tomorow, I wake up very soon to fight with this cheating company.
The first letter bellowing was submitted to CEO of T-Mobile Company at the end of February, 2006. But there is no response frome it even by e-mail. I will take all necessary steps from now! Beleive me, I will not give up and I will not pay even one penny if I have not to do!
Dear CEO of T-Mobile Company:

My name .... I decided to buy cell phone from your company because your good reputation. However, I am very disappointed with your service, and I will not suggest your product to any of my friends if the good resolution has not been met.

I would like to delineate my problem caused by your system. I have bought and used your cell phone since December 2005. My plan was $39 a month. Every thing sounds good until February 18, 2006.

On February 18, 2006, I changed the plan from $39 a month to $29 a month. The charge should have been active in the next month billing. However, your company has charged me retroactively since February 2, 2006. I have no idea there will be such preposterous transaction which your company engaged in this way. Under the United States law of contract, such contract will be considered as unconscionable one and unenforceable.

According to your preposterous activity, changing my plan backward to February 2, 2006 instead of next month billing, my account number, 431371590, appears that the 300 minutes had been gone over, and I have to pay more than $150 for the service. It is absolutely incorrect at all. The new plan, $ 29 a month, which I asked your service representatives to change on February 18, 2006, must be active in the next period, rather than retroactively.

Hope that you will resolve this problem. Any good resolution should be accomplished as soon as possible. Thank you for your consideration.

Faithfully yours,
Here is the second letter I will submit to this company in next few days if I have not gotten any good resolution from this bad company. I hope that everything will be going well.
Dear CEO of T-Mobile Company:
Reference: Letter to CEO of T-Mobile Company, February 27, 2006.
CC: Illinois Attorney General:

First of all, I would like to introduce myself again. My name is .., a police inspector of Legal Affair Office, Royal Thai Police. I am a Thai government officer, who has been studying in JSD/ Ph.D. program at University of Illinois College of Law. Most importantly, I am your customer, T-Mobile Company.

According to my first letter on February 27, 2006 submitted to CEO of T-Mobile Company, until now the problem about billing is still not corrected. I would like to recapitulate and clarify the problem caused by your system again. As I have already indicated, there is no legal basis to enforce such preposterous transaction which your company engaged in this way. No contract will be enforced retroactively. What your representative did should be considered as unconscionable and unenforceable contract.

The result of such preposterous activity committed by your representatives, changing my plan backward to February 2, 2006 instead of next month billing, my account number, 431371590, I have to pay at the end of the billing, March 1, 2006, is almost $160 for the one month service fee. It is absolutely incorrect at all. The new plan, $ 29 a month, which I asked your service representatives to change on February 18, 2006, must be active in the next period, rather than retroactively.

I have called your representatives more than five times before the end of February, 2006 to change and correct what I have requested. They refused to solve this problem. I am willing to pay your service if such service fee is reasonable. What your company did to me sounds like I was being cheated.

I called your representatives on March 7, 2006, around 22:10 hrs. I asked what the result will be if I request to change the rate plan from at the time. Your representative said that T-Mobile Company will not charge me with the new plan rate until April 1, 2006. In other word, if the customer requests T-Mobile to change the new rate plan, the new rate plan will be effective in the next moth billing, not backward.

Nevertheless, your representative, who accepted my request on February 18, 2006, changed the rate plan I that have requested backward to February 2, 2006. It is contrary to your policy that the request will be effective in the next moth billing. I have relentlessly asked many of your representatives to correct both calling and sending my e-mail. Your representatives have merely refused to correct this problem.

On March 7, 2006, I have asked your representative what her name is. She refused to give me her name. In addition, I have sent my e-mails to your customer care two times. Your representatives gave me the wrong answer and irrelevant to my question about my billing problem. Those representatives gave me the case number # 1153805 billing and Payments, but have not done anything.

I have tried to take any step that I can do by myself until now. As a result, I have to submit my complaint and hope that you will resolve this problem. Any good resolution should be accomplished as soon as possible. Thank you for your consideration.

Within this letter, I have attached other relating documents to you totally ………pages.

Faithfully yours,
