I believe that everyone know what really an "Ego" means. This story will be relating to it, an ego, and my opinion which I have posted my opinion about studying in Juris Doctor (JD) program and Ph.D. in Klaiban Thai web board.
Whenever I have spare time, I always post my opinion about what I knew in American Law School in this web board. Additionally, I sometimes post what I have learned from my life during staying in the United States for a few years. I recall what I want prior to coming to study in the states; then, whenever there is some question about law school in this country, I am very willing to grant my opinion to them.

In this particular circumstance, one Ph.D. student asks if there is anyone studying in Ph.D. program and J.D. program simultaneously. In my understanding, one Ph.D. student would like to study in JD program while concomitantly studying in Ph.D. program. I think it is too tough, especially for me, to study in such both program at the same time.
I also explain about the way of life that JD. students will survive in this professional school. For example, I have enumerated that law students have to prepare themselves through reading the assignment around 30-40 pages for ever class they attend. That means they might have to read around 60-80 pages per days if they study only 2 classes in a day.
Some students, who are either studying or graduating from England, demonstrate that learning in American law school is much easier than studying in the school of law in England. They boast that they have to read around 100 pages per nights to prepare for next class. Some students illustrated that they had to read around 1,000 pages per week. Oh! I am very thankful to my Lord Buddha in that I don't have to go to study in the very difficult school like those located in England.
According to those opinions, law students in England have to read around 1,000 pages per week; that is 4,000 pages per month and it is totally at least 16,000 pages per semester. If they have to study five classes, they have to read more than 20,000 pages in such short period of time. It is vey lucky to me enogh in that I have a good opportunity to study in the very easy institutes American law schools. In my point of view, it, however, is very practicle to assign the students to read the books before class not more than 40 pages per class.
To me, I don't occupy very high potential to read and catch up all material I read if I have to read as much as 100 pages a night. Even though I have to read in Thai language around 100 pages a night, I have no capability to grasp all materials from what I read. Particularly, when I have to read the law book writen in English, which I don't want to boast myself how fast I can do, to me it is much more perplexing to understand than those writen in Thai.
In fact, the English legal terms are highly different from the regular English language. Even those JD students who are american always complain about its difficulity. I am very positive to say that even any person who can get the 660 score in TOEFL test, it is not easy for them to understand those books. Why can I do it without any problem? Yep, I do have many problems especially in the specific area of law I am not familiar with.
I would like to ask you guys, whoever coincidentally come across and read my blog, whether you can read such colosal assignment like 100 pages per night! Supposedly, it is writen in Thai or in your natve language. Do you think how much you will catch up and grasp those material facts or rule of law from what you read around 100 pages per night? How many hours do those students have to spend for reading? If their reading speed is around 10-15 pages per hour, they might have to spend around 20 hours a night. Is it possible? In my view of poin, it is extremely preposterous to boast such exaggeration.
I try to eliminate my "Ego." Frankly, I cannot do something very difficult like those guys who study in England. However, I am very doubtful about some facts that I have ever heard. Why do many students who graduated from law school in England always complain when they come to study in the second LL.M. program in the United States?
Finally, some day, I might have to go to proove it by myself if such assertion is true. I might have to do something else. Go to study law in England? Maybe, if I go there, my enlightenment might ensue [?]
